in need of patience

hey ya'll,

this is going to be a short update because i do not have a whole lot of information for ya'll. i am still recovering in Lima. each day i am feeling better. for about 3 days now i have been able to eat mostly normal meals with little pain. it is very exciting to be able to eat again!!

other than that i have requested a job transfer due to medical issues. i am still waiting through this whole process. i have no idea where or when i will be transfered. this is very much a test of patience. as far as i know i will be in Lima until i have another job to move into.

please pray that i will have patience and wisdom.

thank you all so much! as soon as i know more i will let you all know!!

i love ya'll!

You will do fine Lane and most of all, you will BE fine. You'll be a blessing to whoever gets the joy of having you around. Hang in there kiddo, things will be a-okay.

And guys, if anyone is getting her, it's going to Central Asia. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Glad you are feeling better Lane! We will be thinking of you as you patiently wait to be re-assigned. Not that you don't have a few people already fighting over where you should go next...but then again, China would always welcome you! :)

There's no way Lane is going to Asia and not coming here. Sorry guys, hate to disappoint you, but she's ours!

Been thinking about you a whole bunch lately and now I know why...

Praying for you my dear...wherever you go, be like Zaccheus and keep on stepping down into His Presence for He's coming to your house today!

You'll be full of love and joy and faith wherever you go...

Isa. 42:9 "new things I declare...I will announce them to you."

The Lord longs to be gracious to you. Isaiah 30:18

Love you lots, Bev

Sorry to hear about your sickness, Lane. They're right; God knows what He's doing, so hang in there. So if you really want to hear about a great place to go, let me tell you about Costa Rica. It would be a great place to recover, plus you still get to use your Spanish. Oh yeah, did I mention that I wake up every morning to the sound of parrots singing?
